Poker reward/bonus types

Bonus points

bonus-points-2

Bonus points are the most common reward type for both our loyalty program and promotions, and it’s easy to see why both we and our players favor them: flexibility.

The points can be redeemed in our shop for various rewards, including playthrough bonuses, tournament tickets, and cash game tickets.

Each bonus point is worth 1 cent, so to purchase a €1 reward, you would need 100 points. While the points do not have a fixed expiry date, they do follow a rolling expiry system of 90 days for accounting purposes. This means that as long as you log in at least once every 90 days, your points will remain active and could potentially be kept for years.

Playthrough bonus

playthrough-bonus-n

As this is a common point of confusion, let’s begin by clarifying what playthrough bonuses are not: they do not immediately grant you the full value upon activation – you can’t instantly sit down at a table and play with the bonus funds.

So, how do they work? Playthrough bonuses are quite straightforward, although they differ from the typical bonuses you might encounter for casino or sports betting.
These bonuses pay out their value in cash increments as you generate rake. An example will help illustrate this:

If you purchase a €100 bonus in the shop, it will be divided into five levels/increments. Each level requires €100 in rake and triggers a €20 cash reward. In other words, the bonus provides a 20% rakeback.

Level Rake Required  Reward Amount
110020
210020
310020
410020
510020

Shop bonuses are always 20% rakeback and 5 levels, but we also have bonuses with 1 and 10 levels, and the rakeback % can vary from 5% to 50%.

Cash game ticket

If cash game poker is your jam, and you want to instantly join a table with your reward, then cash game tickets are your golden ticket.

With a cash game ticket, you receive a reward that you can take directly to the table. To convert the ticket into withdrawable cash, you’ll need to see a specific number of flops. Only the flops seen while playing with the ticket balance will count.

Here are a few mechanics to be aware of:

  1. Specific Stake/Limit: The ticket is typically tied to a specific stake, and you won’t be able to use it at other stakes.
  2. Multiple Tables: If your ticket balance is sufficient, you can use it at more than one table.
  3. Expiry Date: Cash game tickets generally have a 7-day rolling expiry date. This means as long as you use it at least once every 7 days, it won’t expire. In rare cases, the rolling expiry may be longer, or the tickets may have a set expiry date.
  4. Flop Requirement: For tickets bought through the shop, you generally need to see 50 flops per buy-in. For example, a €20 ticket for NL10 (two buy-ins of 100bb) has a flop requirement of 100.

Tournament ticket

Tournament tickets are straightforward. A €10 ticket can be used to buy into a €10 tournament. Simple!

However, you should be aware of the different tournament formats. Most tickets are designated for specific tournament types such as HU SNG, HexaPro, 5-seat SNG, or MTT. Additionally, some MTT tickets might be for a particular tournament type.

HexaPro/SNG tickets are generally valid for 7 days while it’s 14 days for most MTT tickets, after which they will expire. MTT tickets won in qualifiers can have a validity ranging from 7 to 180 days.

Yes, you can register to a tournament taking place after the expiry date of the ticket.

However, should you unregister, after the expiry date, the ticket will be lost.
In case the tournament cancels, after the expiry date, the ticket will also be lost.

By going to “My Tickets” and clicking the relevant ticket, you’ll see the available tournaments on the right (see picture below).

If there are no tournaments listed, it’s likely because the target tournament has already taken place. If there’re still many days till the ticket expires, it could also be that the tournament just hasn’t been added to the client yet.
